Emergency services swiftly responded to the scene, rescuing eight people who are currently receiving medical treatment at Murtala Mohammed hospital. The Executive Secretary of Kano State Emergency Management Agency, Isyaku Kubarachi, highlighted the inferior structure of the building as a key factor in the collapse.
