According to Force spokesman Muyiwa Adejobi, the disciplinary review began on July 14 and is set to conclude on July 25, 2025, at the IGP Smart Conference Hall in Abuja. The officers, from various commands and units across the country, are appearing before the Force Disciplinary Committee (FDC) over allegations ranging from professional misconduct to breaches of internal regulations.

Inspector-General of Police Kayode Egbetokun has reaffirmed his administration’s dedication to discipline and ethical conduct, emphasizing that the Force will not tolerate any form of indiscipline. The FDC plays a crucial role in reviewing allegations, assessing evidence, and recommending sanctions in line with police laws and disciplinary frameworks.
