Portal Reopens for Applications

The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has confirmed that its recruitment portal will be back online on Monday, July 21, 2025. This comes after a temporary closure to address the overwhelming number of applicants and to upgrade the system for better performance.

Applicants Advised to Complete Submissions

Those who had begun their applications before the pause are encouraged to retrieve and finalize their submissions once the portal is active again. The CDCFIB emphasizes the importance of completing the process to ensure consideration for the recruitment.

System Upgrades for Enhanced Accessibility

The temporary suspension was necessary to implement upgrades that would accommodate the high volume of applications, ensuring a seamless and fair process for all candidates. The Board has apologized for any inconvenience caused and reassured applicants of the system’s improved capabilities.

Beware of Fraudsters

The CDCFIB also issued a warning against fraudsters attempting to exploit the recruitment process, reminding the public that the application is entirely free at every stage.

How to Apply

Prospective candidates can access the portal starting July 21, 2025, via the official website to continue or complete their applications. The CDCFIB oversees recruitment for several paramilitary agencies, including the NSCDC, Nigerian Correctional Service, Federal Fire Service, and Nigerian Immigration Service.
