Addressing Technical Challenges
Despite its success, the portal faces hurdles, including identity verification and payment processing issues. The CAC is actively resolving these, with a dedicated help desk managing 3,000 daily complaints and software updates underway to enhance functionality.
Future Improvements and Security Measures
The Commission is exploring alternative payment channels to counter REMITA gateway outages and has introduced OTPs for transaction security, ensuring protection against unauthorized access.
