Niger State Cholera Outbreak Claims 13 Lives
A cholera outbreak in Niger State has tragically claimed the lives of 13 individuals, with over 236 residents hospitalized. The outbreak, initially reported in the Shiroro Local Government Area, has swiftly spread to five additional areas, including Bosso, Minna, Magama, Bida, and Munya.
Emergency Response Underway
Health officials have identified Chanchaga (Minna), Bosso, and Shiroro as the most severely affected areas. In response, the Niger State government has launched an emergency health initiative to combat the spread of the disease.
